My Story

Ying Handler

Ying is a visual artist and designer based in Zurich, born in 1991 in Guangxi, China. She started learning to paint at the age of six, graduated from the China Academy of Arts and completed her master’s degree at Brand University in Germany. She have worked as a painting educator, graphic designer, and sales and marketing professional. Since 2023, Ying has been creating and acting as an artist in Switzerland.

Ying likes to use bright colours and abstract geometric patterns in her work, which relates to her background in graphic design. She focuses on human emotions and inner world, and expresses themes that reflect her thoughts about human beings and life.
